Our boots are made of high-quality cowhide and designed for durability, to keep them looking their best we recommend maintenance when necessary.
We use smooth, nubuk, velorsleder and canvas uppers in our products.

Cleaning smooth leather
- First remove any dirt with a soft brush or a damp cloth, let the boots dry in the air. Please make sure that your boots are not exposed to direct sunlight or heating, otherwise the leather may dry out.
- So that your leather remains smooth and water-repellent, we recommend maintaining them using leather cream, spray or leather lotion.
- When you use a care product for the first time, try an inconspicuous area of the shoe to check whether the leather’s colour or appearance changes.
- If you use a polish, apply a small amount to a polishing cloth or brush and rub in circular movements over the upper material.
- Remove the residues and let your boots dry again.
Cleaning Suede
- Use a suede brush to remove surface stains or dirt.
- If you have scratches, you can remove them with an eraser or a nubuck brush.
- Moisten a brush with a little water and pour a small amount of suede and leather cleaner on it.
- Dab off any moisture with a clean cloth let them air dry.
- After drying, apply a water and dirt-repellent spray to re-seal the water resistant layer.
- If the leather is wet, always air dry in before cleaning or using cleaning agents.
Cleaning Nubuck
- Use a dry nubuck cloth to remove surface dirt.
- Then softly clean the surface with a nubuck brush in a circular movement.
- If you have signs of wear, remove them with an eraser or a nubuck brush.
- Alternatively, you can use spray the uppers using a nubuck cleaning solution, then wipe them down using a nubuck towel.
- Dab off the shoes with a clean cloth to remove any excess moisture, let them dry in the air.
- Apply nubuck water and stain protection to the shoe to extend the lifespan of your boots.
- After drying, apply a water and dirt-repellent spray to re-seal the water resistant layer.
- If the leather is wet, always air dry in before cleaning or using cleaning agents.
Cleaning Canvas
- Remove dirt stains with a soft brush.
- Immerse in warm water and clean the entire surface of the boots.
- Place some newspaper in your boots and let them dry in the air to ensure they retain their shape when dried.
- Never put your Canvas Blundstones in a tumble dryer, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the soles.
Extra Tips
- Never dry your boots near an open fire or on an artificial heat source, as the leather can harden, shrink and tear. If dried incorrectly it may even be possible for the leather loosen from the sole. Always dry your boots naturally at room temperature.
- Always store your boots in a well-ventilated, cool place that is not exposed to sunlight or a heat source that may damage the leather.
- Avoid exposing your boots to chemical contamination. Solvents, strong acids and lye may irretrievably damage the leather.
- Please only use high-quality cleaning agents and leather care that is tailored to the material of your boots.
